About Us
Education Matters For All (EMFA)
At EMFA, we aim to personalize every session to meet the needs of our students, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only complete their daily tasks, but guide them from novice to experienced. We do that in the most effective way possible—mastering the subject area and building lifelong, professional confidence. Our experienced tutors are multifaceted educators who’ve taken it upon themselves to help the world understand the effectiveness of personalized academia.

Emily Han
President, Founder

As a tutor who has taught children for free and online through a pandemic, I understand the great impact tutoring can have on the student. Helping children has always been a passion of mine, and I am honored to be able to carry it out through EMFA. My value lies in taking small steps every day to create a positive impact in the world. I'm incredibly thrilled to have the opportunity to conduct this through EMFA!
Shruti Patel
Secretary

Being the secretary of EMFA is both an honor and responsibility as it allows me to be involved in something that is for a greater cause and lets me do something that I love. I believe that education is something that everyone should have a right to and especially children and so I am beyond grateful to be part of something that values it as much as I do. Outside of EMFA, I like to lead small traditional dance groups for all ages. I hope that our students in EMFA can not only strengthen their weaknesses but also learn more from each other!
Sarah Hong
Vice President

A tutor means to help the younger generation individually grow academically while allowing them to be confident in their abilities. I am eager to help guide our students through their journey with my own experiences as a high school tutor while I try to make a positive impact in their lives. Besides tutoring, I paint and compete with music.
Sunny Yuan
Editor-in-chief

I’m delighted to join the EMFA Board as Editor In Chief and look forward to working with everyone for our new YouTube channel. I have always been passionate about the importance of accessible and quality education for kids, so I’m excited to help EMFA continue to grow.
Lucy Choe

As Vice President, I hope to spread the joy of learning to our students by sparking confidence in their abilities and creating a healthy and positive relationship between themselves and their studies. I truly hope that EMFA can be a resource to your child and help make a difference in the way they view their education! Outside of school, I enjoy swimming and eating any kind of food.
